Hmmmm i do ur run up to the bone pits were i should see a dreamrider (which i do) but theres charged blacknesses in the way, i try lure then away with SoH + SF but they wont budge, they seem to be fixed there O.o

EDIT: Nvm overcome that bridge. This build owns!!!!!

Hey Dope,

I've tried yesterday your build for Bone Pits.... it works greats ,
also it's pretty fast.... cleared bone pits, but still the ecto drop rate sucks 1 ecto..... I'll post some screens later (at work ATM), keep up the good work.

PS. Couldn't kill BDR, because of fleeing, so maybe next time I have to take caltrops with me, like in FoW

Just throwin this out there for all those who are restricted to the ***Prophecies Skills only****... this is purely a result of your inspiration DopeFish, so I'm posting it in here. For the record, thanks for all your contributions to the game

Basically, its a 105 HP Monk/Elementalist, whose tactics are more or less the same as your own (i.e. running to the skeles, etc.) though there are a few differences which arise as a result of absence of Shadowform and the other assassin skills.

The Build:
[Skele farmer;OwYUgI3+KIH1blR8eQEUAUeA]

Equipment:
Divine Favor Headpiece
All 5 Sup Runes
I use Kephets Refuge, which does wonderfully... I guess the requirements would be the +5 energy and 20% enchants... tho the 1/2 recharge on skills helps often in tight situations.

Upon Entering FOW, Cast Balthazar's spirit on yourself. **Leave off Blessed aura... the drain on your energy pool isnt worth it, and you will not be able to generate enough energy for the casting of [protective spirit], [Shielding Hands], [Spell Breaker], and [Windborn Speed], all the way to the skeles... or rather the group consisting of the Shadow Mesmer, and x2 Eles, which mark the entrance to the battlefield.***

When you reach them, cast [Blessed Aura], and regen. Aggro the skeles with [protective spirit] and [Windborne Speed], let the mesmer shatter windborne speed, reapply [protective spirit], [shielding hands], and [Spell Breaker], and aggro the Skeles at the bottom of the ramp and bring them back to kill the shadow group. After that, the run is essentially the same. Cast [protective spirit] and [spell breaker] before aggroing the skele groups, bunch them up, apply [shielding hands], run in and let them pop. Once in a while there will be a stray skele, which dont usually to be a problem. If its necessary, just cast PS, shielding hands, and windborne speed, and skeedaddle. regen, and come back. *Note: always apply [protective spirit] BEFORE [shielding hands] or else the dmg. isnt reduced.

I'm still tweaking it, but I hope that helps the people like myself restricted to Prophecies only skills!

okay, i got all the skills/equip/armor, tried it in UW and can kill the first group of graspings pulling them under the stairs, except for a straggler or two which always find me even though i'm shadow stepping back to my starting point (out of their aggro)..how is this? i do caltrops last so they are all crippled, but I don't get how they can follow me back...does this happen to you guys, too? I've spent about 10k on failed runs, please help me. I've never played a sin, so its highly possible that I might be missing something quite elementary. If so, let me apologize now lol

i did a full bone pit run and ecto dropps were average.
i got 2 on my run after the run i dualed with a friend of mine:
we were able to kill aatxes and clear the cahosplanes too.
will upload some screens later...

Silly me...I had the wrong bar <slap>...switched according to OP, which I read a lot slower this time and it works fine...

Wickedo Guide Dope. Have to try this out. Got one question that bugs me. For beginning do you run to the stairs and wait for the grps to come to you or pull them to stairs while under SF. This seems that by time get to Stairs the SF will have run out? Idk that just bugging me. If this build really really works. I can see the New Universial Monk Solo Build. This build sounds very very wicked. If have to say this probaly be what everyone in Guild Wars was waiting for because it resembles to Prot Bond Monk build but even better.

As I am unable to play GW atm, I can't test this. But would this work with Raptors in HM? Can someone maybe test this?

are you serious? the situation is completey different. raptor farming you aggro everything in one swoop and kill at once. if you did the groups in more than one batch it would be a waste of time. until you find a a way to aggro everything at once htat your going to farm in the underworld, yes, it is impractical. i can't believe that actually had to be explained.

as for the build, nice job!

Since no one has answered this;

[Divine Spirit] only effects the energy cost of monk spells. Wouldn't make a difference.

What I think you ment was [Blessed Aura] which only effects monk enchantments, so it also wouldn't help.
